Reforestation allows for the accelerated development of forest structure, species composition, and canopy that provides many benefits including wildlife habitat, clean and abundant water, carbon sequestration, forest wood products for consumers, forested recreation opportunities, and maintenance of soil.

Impact

Reforestation has many positive effects on the environment. One of the most dramatic impacts is an increase of habitat for millions of species.

Process

Reforestation includes the process of planting (or otherwise regenerating) and establishing a desired forest community on a given site.

Adding trees allows the forest to expand its canopy, which blocks the sun's rays during the day and holds in heat at night.

Empowering local community

Reforestation offers just transition to the locals who would like to return to their hometown and land on new employments that these projects can offer.

The just transition also benefits the local who are among the B40, and have lost their income through floods and weather changes. The locals are now offered with employments in the environment where they can elevate their livelihood through training, up-skilling program and formal courses which lead to better earning.

Opportunity

More than 1380 of job opportunities now available to locals from general workers at nursery, tissue culture lab assistants to supervisory, equipment operators and drone pilots.

Learning & Training

Our workers are given the opportunity to learn on the job and they will practice what they learn immediately.

No one left behind

The varieties of job available from working at our nursery to working in the reforestation sites. We require many manpower even with zero experience and skills and no academic achievement. Trainings are provided.

Reducing Carbon Levels

Reforestation offers one of the best ways to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, turning it into solid carbon through photosynthesis and storing it in tree trunks, branches, roots, and soil.
