Get your hands dirty

Our activities besides enrichment and reforestation in the degraded area, Planters also runs conservation work at Taman Botani Negara to help our proud national botanical garden to be restored to what it once was.

An unfortunate heavy storm in 2019 has damaged many beautiful structures in Taman Botani and to make it worse many big trees could not withstand the storm fell on the ground causing many sites have to be closed for further improvement.

Taman Botani that we knew was once the fun venue for activities such as flying fox, suspension bridge and awesome birthday venues for kids. That too were lost and Taman Botani is working hard to bring back all the fun.

There are some areas still open to public for cycling, hiking and visits, and you can enjoy the beautiful green scenery in the vast area of 800 acres of herbs, fruit bearing trees, dipterocarps and other interesting plant species which we may not seen much now or never knew.

We help Taman Botani to source for more exotic plants and at the same time we welcome volunteers to help out in the restoration work. We promise sweat with no tears and all smile at the end of the day.
